Trans-continent Triumph

Meet Daniel Devine. He woke up one morning and decided to ride his Triumph Bonneville halfway across the world - From England all the way to Australia

He's camped in the middle of no-where,

 had spills on ice,

 and seen sweltering temperatures in the Thar desert.

And even found the most Regal place in town to have his bike give up on him.

We're sorting out Dan's ride and sending him along but please send your good karma his way. 

Now, just wish one morning i could wake up and do a 'Dan'.

Another Hole in the Ground

 Formed by an huge stone hurtling towards the earth some 56 thousand years ago, this big hole in the ground is quite spectacular. 

 Theres's a few temple ruins right by the lake side and because it was an hours walk into the bottom, I just settled for some low light zoom pics.

 Oh and did I mention, I rode a scooter some 500km to the middle of nowhere to get there

A Stitch in time...

The things you find walking down an old French colony in India is priceless. An old Singer machine is one of them, other treasures are best left secret.

When in Ambur...

Eat their biryani! Ambur a little hell hole in Tamil Nadu is famous for it's leather tanneries and shoe shops, but thanks to the Nawab of Arcot who once had his capital near here, their Biryani is what makes it a hot spot when you're passing by. Chicken, mutton or beef you can pick, but make sure it's at the Taj restaurant, it's just one of a kind and sometimes a little hard to spot.
